17 Apr Le Lutetia is closed….only for revamps !
Le Lutetia was a prestigious customer for us with smartness and elegance. Our team was delighted to collaborate with the hotel staff.
The hotel, follows the Crillon, Ritz and Plaza Athenee which have all closed for major revamps.
This famous historical hotel, in the Rive Gauche district, was taken over by German officers occupying Paris in WWII.
Last but not least, Matisse, De Gaulle, Picasso or Saint-Exupery used to spend nights in this Art-Deco Hotel…
Jean-Michel Wilmotte, French famous architect will manage the renovations.
Due to the closure, the hotel sold works of art and huge number of bottles of wine and alcoholic drinks in an auction from may 19th to may 25th in Paris.
The Israeli group, Alrov, bought the hotel in 2010, 100 years after the opening.
